Welcome to Mingle & Margaritas!
Mingle & Margaritas is a casual get together of YA and MG writers in the metro Atlanta area. You do not have to be a published author to participate. Our mission is to build community, share knowledge, support each other through our failures and celebrate our successes. We usually meet at a local bookstore and invite a guest speaker to discuss a topic related to the publishing industry.
This event is not for profit, so we ask attendees to contribute $5 towards the purchase of food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
If you wish to be invited to future events, please fill out the contact form below.
What past attendees are saying:
“One of the hardest parts of being a writer is how solitary it can be. I love the writing community we’re building in Atlanta, especially getting to meet new people at events like this one.” – Rachael Allen, author of The Taxonomy of Love (Abrams, 2018), The Revenge Playbook (Harper Teen, 2015) and 17 First Kisses (Harper Teen, 2014)
“Nothing brings me greater joy than good cheese, great wine and talented writers. Thanks you so much for being such excellent organizers and hosts. I really enjoyed myself. I’m really looking forward to the next Mingle and Margaritas!” – Rebecca Cha, food and travel writer featured in Food and Wine, The Wine Enthusiast, The Wine Spectator and others.
“This was a fantastic experience—I loved chatting with my writing pals, old and new.” – Jessica Vitalis
